The studio.
Sound is off. Start audio, then play with touch, keys or MIDI.
Space & repeats / instrument effects
Two filtered delay lines feed each other. Shimmer shifts captured audio one octave up; it does not trigger an extra oscillator. Controls are attenuated before the output compressor.
Contour / sixteen-step phrase
Each step is an eighth note. Switch a step off or choose a scale degree. The phrase follows Root, Mode and Tempo; its timing runs inside the audio processor.
Voice & external audio / record, process, listen
Input permission is requested only when you arm it. Output selection depends on your browser.
Audio files and microphone signals share this channel. Armed input is recorded even when monitoring is off. Files stay on your device.
MIDI & MPE / expression that belongs to each note
Touch and computer keys work without MIDI.
| Gesture | Attractor mapping |
|---|---|
| Strike | Note amplitude |
| Pressure | Individual note intensity and instability |
| Slide / CC74 | Wavefold and low-pass colour |
| Glide / pitch bend | Independent continuous pitch |
| Manager sustain / CC64 | Hold all member notes |
Attractor is the MPE instrument. Contour receives notes; Eightfold maps consecutive MIDI notes across its eight touch sensors. Standard MIDI uses ±2-semitone bend; MPE defaults to ±48 on members and ±2 on the manager. Set your controller to match. RPN 0 pitch range is honoured.
Session notes & recording details
Record captures the stereo mix as 24-bit PCM WAV at the actual audio-device sample rate. A take is limited to ten minutes to bound browser memory. Download your take before starting another; a new take replaces the previous one. Session JSON contains patch, sequence and channel settings, not recorded audio or the selected source file.
